Aquarium Trip

We met up with a few friends at the aquarium today. Ryan & Kaylie really enjoyed seeing the fish, penguins, and seals among other animals. I was hesitant at first about going, but there was going to be 5 adults for 6 kids (all under 20 months) so I felt better knowing there were extra hands. They did great overall, but Ryan was a little unruly. He just wants to run and explore like nobody's business, but he has no idea of the dangers that lurk and that Mommy can't be in two places at once! Needless to say there were a few tantrums thrown. Kaylie was calm and enjoyed looking at everything. These are the only pictures I took. It was all a blur after letting them out of the stroller.

I used their backpack harnesses for the first time. They love to wear the backpacks. Ryan hates the "leash" part!! I will say that they make them fall down quite a bit, but I didn't lose anyone and I guess that is the point. Here they are in the backpack (with leash unattached). I bought them at Toys R Us in case anyone is wondering.

You did a great job with them out of the stroller. It was good to see you and the kids!

What a fun time! I love taking the kids to the aquarium and they all have such a good time.
PS I can't believe how BIG they both are getting!

I'm glad we FINALLY got to have a winter playdate! I'm sure you were sweating by the time you left. I hope you got a minute to relax at some point today:) We had a lot of fun!
