The Big Catch Up Post

We've been enjoying the summer so far. We've been to the beach, spraypark, pools, a farm, fairs, BBQs, library, playdates, and have gone outside every day that we can to enjoy summer. This is the first year I will say that it is easier to take them places. They know to stay near now and know not to run off. There were a few weeks here with unbearable weather so we have hit up a lot of indoor play places. That has also made me grateful for signing up for My Gym classes. At least it is an hour or two of air-conditioned fun.

Here are some pics. I don't think they are in any particular order. I wasn't about to mess with blogger.

All the toys to use at this indoor play place, called Party Gym, and they played with a wagon. We don't have a wagon but I'm certain if we did, it would never get used like it did this day.

Pretend play has really been kicked up a notch.

The only shore pic I have besides some dark/blurry ones taken at the beach during 4th of July. It was a seriously hot day at the beach--I'm talking burnt feet walking on the sand--I was in no mood to take pics. You couldn't leave the blanket. They enjoyed the kiddie pool and seeing their older cousin. The kids LOVED the fireworks but were up way past their bedtime.

The slip & slide, although they prefer to just squirt each other with the hoses.

We still have time to get into trouble though.....I literally left them for two minutes and they managed to get the box of Rice Krispies off the shelf, dump the entire box and eat them off the floor. Then there was some stomping of Rice Krispies following this picture.
